In her free time Simone enjoys reading, from comic books to longer series, no book goes unopened. From an early age of two Simone has always loved, not just reading, but listening to her parents and other influential readers read to her about the different places she could go in her mind. Eventually her parents enrolled her into preschool for the very first time. Simone was excited. And soon after she was on her way to learning how to read. She like many others around the world turned to reading as a way to cope, she would pick up a good book when things got tough and just use it as an excuse to zone out the world and enter into the world of the book. But not only did she and many others use reading as a way to cope, but they also used reading to learn things that they couldn't learn during school. It really fascinated her how someone could write down words and make her feel like she really was apart of the story. But for young Simone and many other young readers starting out their reading careers, she was awful. She had many moments that she just wanted to give up, but with the support of her parents and many other she continued to practice and practice. And now she is a Senior at Mount Pleasant High School and she's much better, but there is still a lot she needs to learn. She just loves the idea of learning about new people and places, even if they are just fictional characters, but what she really struggles with on a daily bases is her siblings. She has a total of three siblings. Two sisters and a brother. And they all love to bother her while she is trying to read, which makes it hard to read at home. Which she's fine with, as she loves them all very dearly. But at the same time she really wishes that they would just leave her alone.

Throughout Simone's younger years of school she has always struggled with the art of writing, but yet she always loved trying even if she failed. She learned just like everyone else, through years of schooling, that is still going as we speak. Simone like's writing for many different reasons, like for example she has always liked writing because well, instead of reading things that others write she was able to create things that later on others would read and think wow. Another reason she and many others like writing is because sometimes it's hard to express how/what you are thinking or feeling to another one person in words or speech. Writing itself is something everyone can do. All they need to know is how to write and ,of course, a brain to help produce thoughts, now writing doesn't always have to be tales of fiction and glory, then can be sad poems or even real life events, such as things that may of happened to you or something that might have happened to someone else back in time. Writing is everything. All you need to do is just write what you feel and worry about being judged. But for Simone, she really enjoys writing all sorts of things. From deep meaningful poems to clashing fairy tales, it doesn't matter to her, as long as she is writing what she feels is right in both her heart and mind. But what makes her writing experience ever better is when people reading her work and tell her what they liked and what they thought she could have done better at, so she can learn from her mistakes. The sad thing is that Simone doesn't get to write much at home because she has to share the computer with all three of her lovely siblings, one of whom loves to sit on the computer for hours staring at the screen watching YouTube videos. Over all though she thinks that her writing is great, but like everything else in life, she still has a lot to learn
